There is car parking for up to 130 cars down the road opposite the School on the left hand side of Oak Grange, the new McCarthy & Stone flats. There is a drop off point at the front of the School.
As a member of Northwich and District Heritage Society you enjoy free admission to the Society’s programme of talks listed below. Non-members are welcome on payment of £1.50 admission fee at the door
Train: Greenbank station is a 15 minute walk from the Grange School and is serviced by the Chester-Manchester line. Hartford station, a 20 minute walk, is on the line linking Crewe to Liverpool and Preston. National Rail enquiries telephone 0845 484950.
Bus: Buses stop at the Methodist Chapel in Beach Road (5 minute walk) and at the St John the Baptist Church in Chester Road (8 minute walk), at either end of Bradburns Lane.

Coronavirus - following government advice to avoid social gatherings, the committee has decided to cancel the meetings due to take place on the 27th March 2020, 24th April 2020 and 22nd May 2020. The Society AGM will be postponed until the beginning of our 2020/2021 Programme in the Autumn.

Gardens well worth a visit
We welcome back a very popular speaker, Judy Popley. Her talk will be a very gentle visit looking at some gardens not necessarily familiar to you. These are mainly northern based but with a sprinkling of southern gardens. Some private, some lesser known stately home gardens but all well worth a visit.

The Daniel Adamson
One of the Daniel Adamson’s captains will tell us the story of this unique steam ship which was launched in 1903, and is now fully restored with its beautiful art-deco interior. The “Danny” is now cruising the waterways of the North West including the Weaver and the Manchester Ship Canal.
